Amazon is extending its same-day delivery service to three new Spanish cities, bringing its total to fifteen throughout the country.
Amazon's same-day delivery service is now available in fifteen Spanish cities.
In this sense, Valencia, Valladolid and Zaragoza have been the latest locations to incorporate this service, which also operates in Alicante, Barcelona, Cadiz, Cartagena, Jerez de la Frontera, Elche, Madrid, Malaga, Marbella, Murcia, Seville and Tarragona.
The platform offers this functionality for orders in various categories, including electronics, home and kitchen, beauty, toys and fashion, with a value of 29 euros or more at no additional cost.
According to its calculations, Amazon has delivered a third more same-day orders in Spain and estimates, according to its own studies, that fast and free delivery is one of the services most valued by online shoppers in Spain.
To speed up its delivery services, the multinational places products closer to customers so that fewer kilometres are travelled and fewer handovers occur between the time an order is placed and the time it reaches the customer.
